Unfortunately, most people will look at this as a pro-war/anti-war issue, when that's only secondary.
The real problem with the draft is that it's slave labor.
Let's see: the government presses you into a form of work you don't want, at a wage they determine (typically a pittance), for a period of time they determine. You have two choices: accept it, or go to prison. How is this different from slavery?
It's even more obviously slavery than taxation, which is also a form of slavery but less odious because you actually retain a basically unlimited range of choice in how you exercise your labor.
You can't even pretend a government that presses its subjects into service is capable of protecting our liberty.
